IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT

For your convenience, print the information on this page and keep it in a safe place with your registration and proof of insurance (within your vehicle).

If an accident occurs, perform the following steps:

1. Stop, turn the ignition off, turn your emergency flashers on and remain CALM.

2. Determine if anyone has been seriously injured, call 911 or your local emergency number (_ _ _) _ _ _-_ _ _ _ (write your local emergency number here).

3. If there are no injuries call law enforcement authorities as needed _ _ _-_ _ _ _. File an official accident report with the police. You can obtain an accident report at any police station. Always keep a copy for your records.

4. If a vehicle is creating a hazardous condition, position it away from oncoming traffic. Burning vehicles should be abandoned.

5. Do not discuss the circumstances of the accident with anyone except an Officer of the Law of your insurance company representative.

6. Notify your insurance company immediately. Trying to settle the claim yourself could produce severe future repercussions.

7. Secure information from other party involved.

8. If your vehicle is not drivable call our 24 hour Towing Service at (412) 751-1323 and have your vehicle taken directly to:

9. In the event another towing company is sent to the scene of the accident, carefully read and understand any agreements with the towing company, repair shops, or insurance companies before providing written or verbal authorization.

10. If your vehicle is safe to drive please feel free to stop in or call Simonetta's Auto Body at (412) 751-8844 to schedule an appointment. We will be more than happy to provide you with assistance and a computerized estimate.

11. Notify your insurance agent of the accident and tell them that Simonetta's Auto Body is repairing your vehicle.

The state of Pennsylvania has excellent consumer protection laws. The most important law to remember is: DO NOT LET ANYONE TELL YOU WHERE TO TAKE YOUR VEHICLE FOR REPAIRS (INCLUDING THE INSURANCE COMPANIES). IT IS YOUR CHOICE!
